Race Details
Everyone is welcome at Sprint for Cancer! It is a family-friendly 5K, 10K and Fun Run race for people of all ages. The race will begin from the Target parking lot in the Perimeter Place Shopping Center across from Perimeter Mall and will weave through the Perimeter area of Atlanta. Don’t worry – the course is flat and fast so that everyone can enjoy the race!

What Can I Expect on Race Day?
On race day we’ll be celebrating Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and how everyone who takes part in Sprint for Cancer is making an impact on this amazing organization.
There will be a special area set up with great food, fun activities for kids, live music and companies handing out coupons and samples. You can hang out with your family and friends here before the race and afterwards leading up to the awards ceremony.
What do I Get For Participating?
In addition to the satisfaction of supporting a great cause, everyone who participates in Sprint for Cancer gets a technical, moisture-wicking T-shirt. You’ll also get a race bag full of valuable coupons and other information from our sponsors. All children Fun Run participants will receive a Sprint for Cancer T-shirt and finisher’s ribbon!
Recognize a Loved One Impacted by Cancer
For a $15 fee, you can donate on behalf of someone else and have their name printed on the adult technical race shirts. Please note that names will not be printed on the youth shirts due to size limitations.
Please click here to purchase a memorial name. Memorial purchases are available to everyone, even if you don’t wish to register for the race.
Note: Memorial names are capped at 50 and sell out quickly. Please purchase your memorial name early to guarantee a space on the shirt. After the first 50, all additional memorial names will be added to a memorial banner displayed at the race site.
Finish Times
Race results will be posted at the event after the race and here on the Sprint for Cancer site the following week.
Awards
Sprint for Cancer awards will be given out after the race in the following age categories for men and women:
- 5K - men's overall results
- 5K - men's age group results
- 5K - women's overall results
- 5K - women's age group results
- 10K - men's overall results
- 10K - men's age group results
- 10K - women's overall results
- 10K - women's age group results
- Age divisions for both men and women are: 1-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-99
